ICUEE 2017, the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition, proved to be the largest in show history with 28-plus acres of exhibits, more than 1,000 exhibitors and nearly 18,000 registered attendees.
The show is owned and produced by AEM.
Registrants came from all 50 states and more than 50 other countries to visit specialized exhibits, participate in hands-on test drives, experience interactive product demonstrations and enjoy a wealth of activities on and around the show floor.
“We had a great turnout and participation at ICUEE 2017,” said Rick Rodier, vice president, Sitework Systems Division of The Toro Company and 2017 ICUEE chair. “It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm of so many utility and construction professionals networking and sharing ideas, and finding the product innovations and solutions that will help them grow their businesses.”
Attendee demographics in the utilities category were up 6 percent over the 2015 show – which set a show record for overall attendance – and the utility construction category was up 3 percent over 2015.
In addition, ICUEE attendees and exhibitors raised more than $37,000 to help military veterans secure high-quality employment and bring awareness to the value vets bring to the workplace.
The ICUEE Industry ‘Give-Back’ Auction, along with onsite donations, donated its proceeds to the Call of Duty™ Endowment, the nonprofit organization founded by Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard.
