HDD AcademyAEM is pleased to announce it will support the 2019 Horizontal Directional Drilling Academy, and the association strongly encourages industry professionals to consider attending the intensive two-day course this year.

Slated for Feb. 25-26, 2019 in Tempe Arizona, the HDD Academy offers attendees:

  • An opportunity to better understanding design practices from the point-of-view of both a consulting engineer and a contractor.
  • Information regarding the tools available to better achieve installations through improved productivity, pipe materials, tooling and locating advancements.
  • Access to relevant data to help increase understanding of drilling fluids

“AEM is thrilled to once again sponsor the annual Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Academy, as it offers a tremendous opportunity for horizontal drilling stakeholders to come together and discuss issues of importance, further their knowledge, and discover the latest trends and technologies,” said AEM Technical and Safety Services Manager William “Bernie” Bernhard.

Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction and AEM member Benjamin Media Inc. host the event, which will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix-Tempe. The program features Samuel Ariaratnam (PhD, P.E., P.Eng), an industry leader who is professor and construction engineering program chair at Arizona State University.
