The overall trend continued for U.S. retail tractor sales in August – small tractor purchases were up while production ag machinery buyers avoided dealer lots.
At the same time, said AEM Market Intelligence Director Benjamin Duyck, Q2 2015 exports of U.S.-made agricultural equipment declined 15.1 percent, and the USDA projected a 36 percent drop in 2015 farm income.
