In his 25+ career, Ingo Schiller, President and CEO of Tadano America Corporation, has been involved in nearly every facet of the crane business.
Beginning with crane repair in the late 1980s – and later gaining manufacturing-industry experience that included process-flow analysis and quality-improvement identification – Ingo honed his detail- and systems-oriented approach to business management early on. By providing technical field support, developing precise market forecasts, implementing new marketing strategies, and establishing intuitive pricing structures, Ingo helped build, and ultimately position, his family’s crane dealership for a successful acquisition in 2004.
Joining Liebherr Cranes, Inc. as Executive Vice President of Sales in 2004, Ingo managed a substantial uptick in market demand that resulted in a two-year order backlog for the U.S. market. He’s also held various executive positions at Manitowoc Cranes, where he was responsible for tasks such as new product development planning, leading the Global Crane Care Division, and managing the Global Marketing Team through the bauma, CONEXPO-CON/AGG, and bauma China trade fairs.
Ingo holds a Master of Business Administration degree from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia. He currently serves on the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association’s Board of Directors and is a former Chairman of the Allied Group Governing Committee. He was elected to AEM's CE Sector Board in November 2017.
