Bob Mortensen currently serves as the President of the Off Highway Division for HUSCO International, a global engineering and manufacturing company with businesses in North America, China, India and the United Kingdom. HUSCO International is an ambitious innovation company that designs and produces hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components that improve the overall efficiency, controllability and performance of automotive and off-highway mobile equipment.
In his role as President of HUSCO, Bob is responsible for business development and operations for HUSCO’s Off Highway business serving OEMs in the earthmoving, material handling and agricultural sectors. He has overseen successful launch of production operations at sites in Maquoketa, Iowa; Whitewater, Wisconsin; Shanghai, China; and Pune, India. Recently, increases in market share coupled with initiatives in supply management and a restructuring of manufacturing operations have resulted in record profitability.
Prior to joining HUSCO, Mortensen held various roles of progressive responsibility in engineering, operations and leadership with Briggs & Stratton, SSI Controls and Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation.
Bob received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. He has served on the board of a Joint Venture with Kayaba Corporation. He has also served as a director of the National Fluid Power Association, United Way Waukesha County and the International Fluid Power Exposition (2017 Chair).
