Gustavo Oberto

Gustavo Oberto leads Lindsay’s irrigation business as President of Global Irrigation. This effort spans more than 100 countries and is supported by ten manufacturing plants around the world. Gustavo joined Lindsay in September 2019 and served as President of Elecsys International, the IoT technology arm of Lindsay, until his current appointment.

Before joining Lindsay, Gustavo served as Chief Commercial Officer for Conductix‐Wampfler Group, a world leader in energy & data transmission systems. During his 20‐year career at Conductix‐Wampfler, he held a series of leadership positions in international business development. Prior to joining Conductix‐Wampfler, Gustavo worked as the International Liaison to former Nebraska Governor Ben Nelson, where he advised the Governor and Midwestern companies on how to enter the Latin America Ag market.

Gustavo is currently Vice Chair of the U.S. Commercial Service District Export Council for Nebraska. He also serves as Councillor of the Aksarben Foundation and on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Omaha.

Gustavo holds an Executive MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Gustavo grew up in Cordoba, Argentina, and currently lives with his wife, Christie, and children, Gianluca and Charlotte, in Omaha.
