This position supports the Safety Materials Team by assisting in the development of publications, and managing related artwork and image assets used in the off-road manufacturing industry. The duration of this internship is for 13 weeks at 15 hours per week, in person, during business hours. 

Responsibilities include:  

  • Publications Asset Management: Organize and maintain digital artwork assets and images, ensuring they are easily accessible, properly formatted, named and archived. 

  • Layout Production: Assist in the creation and formatting of publication layouts, adhering to design standards and guidelines. 

  • Press Run Estimating: Support the team in estimating and managing costs associated with press runs for various publications. 

  • Marketing Research: Conduct research to gather insights on industry trends, market viability, and target audience preferences. 

  • Design: Marketing concepts for digital advertising 

  • Illustration: Create simple illustrations to enhance publication content and visual appeal. 

  • Copywriting: Write and edit basic copy for safety publications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency. 

 

This internship will provide any individual pursuing a career in Technical Publications, Marketing or Design an opportunity to gain a broader perspective on customer relations and business development while providing an opportunity to assess interest and abilities in this field. The ideal candidate for this internship will demonstrate these preferred skills:    

  • Understanding of Adobe software 

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Teams environment 

In addition to receiving firsthand experience working with members and exhibitors for a large international association, AEM provides additional training and development opportunities for interns.
