AEM Grant

A few weeks back, the International Trade Administration (ITA) announced that AEM received the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) grant award.

The MDCP establishes a partnership between the ITA and participating trade associations with a long-term goal of removing technical barriers to international trade. Award winners receive financial and technical assistance from the ITA to support projects that enhance the global competitiveness of U.S. industries.

AEM received the MDCP grant award to help launch the AEM China Monitoring and Engagement program. The program coordinates staff from AEM, the Engine Manufacturers Association (EMA) and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) to monitor the regulatory environment in China and provide a voice for industry regarding important topics of concern. The MDCP grant will help bolster these efforts though financial aid and technical knowledge provided by ITA subject matter experts.

AEM looks forward to working closely with staff from the ITA, EMA and ASABE to provide continued value to their members.
