End User Technology AdoptionWe all know that successful implementation and effective use of technology increases efficiency in our lives. Can you even imagine trying to do your job during this pandemic without email, video calls, or the internet in general? Maybe we can imagine it, but that’s not a world we'd want to live in.

Even though many of us have adapted to using some new technologies in our everyday lives over the past six months, the initial learning curve may not have been as smooth as we would have liked. If we could have done our jobs effectively, without being forced to utilize these technologies, would we have just continued doing things the “old way?”

This seems to be the case with many end users across our industry sectors. They can effectively build roads and grow crops the same way it’s been done for tens of years. Without being pushed to utilize new technology to increase efficiency, or after experiencing challenges during implementation, adoption isn’t as high as many of us in the industry would like to see.

With all of that in mind, AEM is pleased to offer a webinar on end user technology adoption, set for Wednesday, Sept. 30

REGISTER NOW.

During this webinar, we will share with you research done across both AEM's Ag and Construction sectors related to the current state of technology adoption. Through our extensive research, we have learned where many end users consider themselves in the adoption cycle, what technologies they are most interested in, the advantages they are looking for, and the challenges they have experienced.

Ag Technology Adoption Research | 11:00 a.m. -11:45 a.m. CST

Farmers have been driven to adopt technology to increase productivity. This research explores how farmers view of productivity is shifting beyond yield. During this webinar, you will gain an understanding of the current state of equipment adoption and what’s on the horizon behind precision agriculture, what technologies do farmers plan to adopt, and which may not be as readily adopted.

Topics include:

  • Current adoption rates of equipment technology

  • Key motivators that drive adoption and how each technology is perceived

  • Q&A

The construction industry has traditionally been slow to adopt new technology. This research will explore which technologies contractors have adopted, which technologies they are interested in learning more about, and which technologies could change the construction landscape. During this webinar, you will gain an understanding of the current state of equipment adoption and preview the education program aimed at educating end users on the value of adopting technology.

Topics include:

  • Current adoption rates of equipment technology

  • Key motivators that drive adoption and how each technology is perceived

  • 2021 end user-focused education program

  • Q&A
