Looking to learn about the likely economic outcomes for the rest of 2020 and beyond? Want to know how COVID-19 is impacting forecasts for construction, agriculture, and their related demand for industrial machinery?
AEM is pleased to offer its latest Machinery Outlook Reports, which provide timely information and insights into macro-economic drivers and the major events – including the COVID 19 pandemic – impacting the agriculture and equipment sectors.
“These quarterly reports help equipment manufacturers identify indicator relationships to create custom forecasts and enable their organizations to accurately assess the evolution of U.S. markets,” said AEM Director of Market Intelligence Benjamin Duyck. “The reports also help companies tie that evolution to emerging trends in key industry segments and better understand how it all connects to the broader economy.”
AEM’s Machinery Outlook Reports feature both global and domestic forecasts, and they include scenario breakouts such as:
- What is the impact of COVID-19?
- What does a Eurozone slowdown mean for the forecast?
- What if the trade wars loosen up?
With each release, Oxford Economics, an AEM partner, will host a complementary 60-minute conference call for AEM member company representatives with one of their industry economists.
“This presents a uniquely valuable opportunity for members to learn the narratives around the numbers, and it serves as a forum to tackle questions regarding any changes to the forecasts,” said Duyck.
Leading Indicator Service
AEM is also pleased to offer this free tool to members to aid in their forecasting efforts.
The recently launched Leading Indicator Service helps members accurately identify what indicators are impacting their business performance through rich data inputs.
“Ultimately, we want our members armed with a strong understanding of likely economic outcomes, along with the tools they need to increase their internal forecasting accuracy, benchmark their success metrics against the market, as well as enrich their marketing initiatives.”
