JTLMThere’s quite literally no better place for product compliance professionals to go and gain access to timely and relevant information on worldwide standards and regulatory developments than the upcoming Joint Technical Liaison Meeting (JTLM)

Set for March 15-17, 2023, at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, the JTLM brings together various global trade associations to present and share information on current and ongoing legislative, compliance and standards activities and priorities.

“This meeting is a uniquely valuable opportunity for AEM staff, our members and other association professionals to meet and discuss issues of common concern for our industry,” said AEM Senior Director of Safety & Product Leadership Jason Malcore. “Ultimately, we want JTLM attendees to be able to walk away with the requisite knowledge and insights to help their respective organizations maintain market access around the world.”

According to Malcore, the JTLM offers extensive and in-depth information on:

  • Regional, national and international standards
  • Product-oriented legislative and regulatory activity for safety, emissions, chemical and quality issues
  • Technical barriers to trade

The JTLM consists of various global trade associations (AEM from the United States, CCMA from China, CECE from the European Union, CMEIG from Australia, ICEMA from India, KOCEMA from Korea and CEMA from Japan) presenting and exchanging information on current and ongoing legislative, compliance and standards activities worldwide.

For more than three decades, members and staff from the aforementioned associations have gathered in-person to share this information with one another. These meetings have been hosted in North America, Asia and Europe on a rotating basis.

“The JTLM has proven to be excellent opportunity to share ideas and best practices, and AEM encourages product compliance professionals working for our member companies to strongly consider attending this year’s meeting at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, North America’s largest construction trade show,” said Malcore.
