How can equipment manufacturers, distributors and asset managers use the rich stream of telematics data coming from today’s off-road machines to create a safer work environment?

A panel of leading distributors and asset managers will take up this topic and more during a joint session at the 2015 AEMP Asset Management Symposium & AEM Customer Support Program, October 6-8 in Cleveland, Ohio.

More and more, manufacturers and distributors are playing a key role in helping asset managers make sound business decisions. In an interactive conversation between all three partners in the "equipment triangle" relationship, session attendees will learn:

  • How relying on their distributor’s access to their fleet data helps asset managers with predictive maintenance, resulting in higher utilization and lower maintenance costs
  • How the distributor and asset manager can partner to make purchasing, rentals, and leasing decisions utilizing telematics
  • How the distributor, asset manager and manufacturer partnership can create a safer working environment utilizing telematics data

Scheduled panelists include John Meese, Waste Management; Steve Pirnat, Ohio Cat; Juan Ramirez Jr., CEM, Bechtel; and Bob Webber, Columbus Equipment.

The panel is one of four AEMP/AEM joint sessions planned as part of the program. In addition, a joint AEMP/AEM reception and dine-around event will provide an extended networking opportunity for customer support representatives and fleet asset managers.
