Ag braking working groups will clarify requirements

Two task forces will brief an industry coalition considering changes to North American ag vehicle braking requirements at a meeting set for August 22nd in Schiller Park, Illinois.

The coalition, consisting of equipment manufacturers, braking system experts and other industry stakeholders, created the task forces at a workshop in June, held at the MacDon Incorporated facility in Kansas City. These task forces were created to focus on elements of the ongoing work which is very technical in nature.

Twenty-six participants attended the initial workshop meeting. Representatives from 13 AEM member companies took part along with Dan Moss, Charlie O’Brien and Mike Pankonin from AEM staff.
