AEM has relaunched the I Make America website. New tools and resources are now available to help member companies and their employees advocate for pro-manufacturing policies.
The new website will serve as portal where supporters can engage directly with the new Congress and the Trump administration and advance industry priorities. It features a new and improved Action Center; information about the industry’s ever-growing impact in all 50 states; and resources to help supporters highlight the importance of equipment manufacturers to American job creation, economic growth and strong communities.
“We are excited to bring the new and improved version of www.IMakeAmerica.com to our more than 40,000 grassroots supporters and 950 member companies,” said Kip Eideberg, AEM vice president of public affairs & advocacy. “2017 is shaping up to be a big year for U.S. manufacturing, and we want to make sure Congress and the new administration will hear our industry loud and clear.”
AEM launched I Make America in 2010 to empower the men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry to advocate for policies that will revitalize the U.S. economy, make America more competitive globally and help create and protect American jobs. Over the past seven years, the campaign has grown to include tens of thousands of supporters from dozens of member companies.
The new I Make America site is just one part of the campaign’s efforts to advocate for pro-manufacturing policies during the Trump administration. Watch for details about the 2017 I Make America tour, the first-ever I Make America fly-in and much more in upcoming issues of the AEM Advisor.
