Annual ConferenceIt’s no secret that even the smallest actions being taken can have significant, far-reaching effects on the surrounding world.

At this year’s AEM Annual Conference, the association’s theme “Ripple – Small Changes, Big Impact” will showcase how even one word, act or decision can make a positive difference for AEM members, the equipment manufacturing industry and the customers it serves. In conjunction with that theme, AEM wants to highlight all the wonderful things our members do to better their surrounding community, region, country and beyond.

Whether it’s volunteering with local gardens and running food drives, to donating to local schools or planting trees, it’s clear these acts, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem in the moment, do have a ripple effect.

Other examples may include:

  • Foundation work
  • Disaster response units
  • Donations of money, time or resources
  • Volunteer efforts
  • Military service

AEM needs help to demonstrate the equipment manufacturing industry is committed to making small changes to drive major results. The association is asking its members to contact their PR departments and encourage them to send in photos or videos of community service activities that are making a difference. If interested, please email AEM's Helen Horner at hhorner@aem.org by Aug. 1, 2023.

Thank you in advance for supporting this effort, as AEM looks forward to sharing all the ways the association is making an impact in support of a better world.
