Looking for an easy, cost-effective way to market your products to international buyers? 

Exhibitors at international trade shows like CONEXPO Latin America and BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA say the no-hassle logistics and high ROI of AEM-organized pavilions really make sense. 

“Our experience of participating in the pavilion program has been very positive,” said Barry Stoughton of BLS Enterprises, Inc., a manufacturer of polyurethane track pads for equipment such as asphalt pavers and milling machines. “For a small company like ours that serves niche markets worldwide, we do get our return on investment value.” 

Smaller to mid-size companies and new-to-market businesses with limited resources say they find the high visibility of AEM-organized pavilions especially valuable to help gain market exposure, potential distribution sources, and direct sales. 

“AEM pavilions are an economical way to launch products into new market areas,” said Kamara Welch of Spancrete Global Services, a manufacturer of equipment for casting hollow core concrete floors and walls. “I would definitely recommend that other companies consider participating.”

Pavilion exhibitors receive a standard package that includes exhibit space, hard walls, furniture, booth carpet, electrical service and company sign. Participants also benefit from pre-show and on-site assistance from experienced AEM trade show specialists.

“We really like the all-encompassing approach with the pavilion that provides all the physical booth structure, furniture, lighting, electricity, etc., and translators for our convenience,” Stoughton noted. “Having the ability to find one of the circulating translators provided by the pavilion when a non-English speaking visitor comes to our booth has been a real help to communicate the value of our products.”

In addition, being a U.S.-based company and part of an AEM-organized pavilion holds a lot of clout in emerging markets, observed Suraj Mody of Mody Pumps Inc.

“Most of the decision makers are familiar with and have dealt with U.S.-based consulting firms, engineers and contractors,” Mody stated. “The trade shows give potential customers the opportunity to meet U.S.-based manufacturers showcasing their products and experience as part of the pavilion.”
