AEM has named Nicole Hallada to the new position of chief marketing director. She will lead Association efforts to improve the development and delivery of content to members, the industry, and the public.

As chief marketing director, Hallada will head AEM’s newly integrated communications department, which brings together the Association’s marketing and public relations departments into a single unit. She will report to Anne Forristall Luke, AEM vice president, political and public affairs.

“Establishment of the new communications department represents the first step in implementing the key recommendations delivered in the AEM communication audit completed last September,” said AEM President Dennis Slater. “The audit’s ultimate purpose is to better utilize AEM’s content resources to increase the value of our services and relevancy to members.”

“AEM’s new communications department will play a critical role in the Association’s continuing evolution to provide even greater value to our members,” Luke said. “Nicole’s extensive background and experience in developing effective communications strategies will provide the leadership to move AEM to the next level in this vital area.”

Hallada joined AEM in October 1997 as marketing coordinator and has held successive marketing management positions of increasing responsibility. She most recently held the position of senior director, marketing & strategy.
