AEM Membership RenewalFor 125 years, AEM has worked diligently to build momentum for the equipment manufacturing industry, in addition to representing its members’ best interests and organizational priorities.

As 2019 winds down and AEM looks ahead to 2020, now is the time for AEM members to renew their partnership and involvement with the association and the industry.

“AEM looks forward to another productive year serving its member companies and the equipment industry through its services and activities in advocacy, market information, exhibitions and technical safety services,” said AEM Director of Membership Paul Malek. “With that in mind, we ask that members renew for 2020 by Dec. 31, 2019, as renewals are due before the beginning of the new year, each year. ”

For the convenience of its members, AEM offers a safe, secure way to process annual membership renewals via its AEM Database Update (ADU) system. The ADU system can automatically calculate annual dues for members and prepopulate a renewal summary form to be signed and submitted with payment. AEM membership renewal notices will be sent out on Nov. 8 to Official Company Representatives (OCRs) and designated renewal contacts at each member company.

“It’s critically important for our members to recognize the importance of renewing on time, especially if they are exhibiting at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020,” said Malek. “That’s why we offer the ability to renew through AEM’s ADU system, as it’s a one-and-done system for you to renew your membership, now available on a mobile device.”

AEM encourages all OCRs and renewal contracts to take advantage of the system’s capabilities to process their membership renewals this year.

In addition, last month AEM contacted OCRs to verify certain member company job functions. Only five key functional titles were verified, so as to maximize AEM’s ability to get the right information to the right people:

  • Advertising and Public Relations Managers
  • Human Resources
  • Market Intelligence Lead Contact
  • Public Policy
  • Technical Director

To access the ADU system, go to A user name and password have been provided to OCRs and renewal contacts.

“An AEM membership will only take your organization as far as the benefits it enjoys from the wealth of programs and services the association provides,” said Malek. “And by keeping its AEM membership front-of-mind, your organization can reap the rewards of being active and engaged, not the least of which is the greatest possible return on its investment in – and involvement with – association efforts and priorities.”
