Stats ConferenceAlthough the “Star of the Show” at the AEM Annual Statistics Conference is the gathering of market data professionals in person to do their official committee business and meet and learn from each other, this year AEM is planning so much more!

Register now and plan to attend this year’s conference, which is set for Sept. 26-28 at AEM’s headquarters in Milwaukee.

The lineup for Wednesday’s conference General Session has been announced, and never before has it been this packed with Information, entertainment and role-specific training.

In the General Session alone, the following will be covered:

  • Outstanding Merit Awards Presentation
  • Hargrove & Associates Update
  • Keynote Speakers:
  • How I Would Use This Data?Hargrove & Associates Chief Operating Officer Todd Snell worked for decades as a data analytics manager for one of the AEM Market Share Statistics Program’s largest and most sophisticated participants. Snell will provide insights into what he would tease out of the data if he were transported back to that role today.
  • Your Best Hacks” Contest –This is where you can win prizes for showing off your knowledge. Everybody uses Excel in their day-to-day work. AEM will ask you to share your favorite Excel hack and will narrow it to the top five. Then those attending will vote on their favorite. Who knew analytics could be so much fun? In addition, AEM will compile those hacks in a document you can take home and try yourself!

Not only that, but AEM has added a New Reporter/Best Practices segment to Wednesday morning – and we will end the day with a voluntary “Dine-Around” in the nearby village of Wauwatosa. ‘Tosa has a high-quality restaurant district that will allow friends and colleagues to mix and mingle while eating some great food. Let's not forget to mention the Tuesday Night Social Event... AEM staff will join Stats Conference participants to see the Milwaukee Brewers play the St. Louis Cardinals in a semi-private area that opens up to the field! American Family Field is the ideal place to watch a game because it has a retractable roof. If it is raining? If it is cold out? Folks inside remain enjoying the game in comfort. To say this will be time well spent is an understatement.
