Jim McEvoy
President & CEO / Wirtgen America Inc
Jim McEvoy is President and Chief Executive Officer of Wirtgen America, Inc., a role he has held since 2007. He joined the company in 2000 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and later served as Vice President of Business Development, where he focused on brand expansion and channel strategy across North America. As President and CEO, Jim oversees operations throughout the United States and Canada. Under his leadership, Wirtgen America has strengthened its dealer network, expanded market share, and built durable customer relationships through service excellence and technical expertise.
Jim is focused on positioning Wirtgen America for long term success by building organizational strength and leadership capability. He emphasizes talent development, succession planning, and a culture of accountability and customer focus, ensuring the company is well prepared to adapt to evolving market demands and continue delivering value as part of the John Deere enterprise.
Jim began his career with Ingersoll Rand’s Construction and Mining Group in 1989 as a management trainee. Over an eleven year tenure, he gained broad experience across marketing, product management, sales, and distribution within the infrastructure construction industry.
Wirtgen America is a subsidiary of the Wirtgen Group, a John Deere Company, providing mobile solutions for road construction and mineral processing through its brands Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann, Benninghoven, and Ciber.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance from King’s College, Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
