Kevin Thomas

Vice President, Excavation / Vacuum Truck Group / Alamo Group, Inc.

Kevin Thomas is the Group Vice President of Excavator and Vacuum Trucks at Alamo Group, a global leader in agricultural and infrastructure equipment. He is responsible for the total management and operations of three Alamo Group companies, Gradall (New Philadelphia, OH), Super Products (Mukwonago, WS) and Rivard (Daumeray, France). Kevin joined Alamo Group in February 2022.

Prior to joining Alamo Group, Kevin worked for Navistar International Corporation from 1999-2019. In 2007, Kevin joined Navistar Defense LLC, and was responsible for the program management of a leading tactical wheeled vehicle original equipment manufacturer serving military, law enforcement, and government agencies worldwide. In 2015 he was named President of Navistar Defense, LLC. Kevin led the successful transition of Navistar Defense to a strategic investor in 2019 and continued as President until 2022.

Kevin also spent 5 years working at General Motors Truck Group and 8 years working at General Dynamics Land Systems.

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Institute of Technology.
