Aggregates Statistics Committee (ASC)

In February 2003, the Vibrating Screen Manufacturers Association (VSMA) and the Portable & Stationary Crushing Bureau (PSCB) passed a motion to merge into the Aggregates Statistics Committee (ASC).

Today, the Aggregates Statistics Committee (ASC) provides direction for AEM’s market share statistics programs covering aggregate production and processing equipment. Reporting includes a range of equipment categories used in crushing, screening, washing, conveying, and material handling applications. The committee supports accurate and consistent industry reporting through the maintenance of product definitions, reporting practices, and data quality standards. Through collaboration among participating manufacturers, ASC provides meaningful market intelligence and industry benchmarking. The committee typically meets in the spring and fall each year.

ASC reporting programs are designed for equipment manufacturers that produce the products being reported and provide timely, accurate data in accordance with established reporting policies and procedures.
