AEM took to the road late last month, showcasing the value of its services and engaging members north of the border via facility visits and at the Canada Farm Show (CFS).

The trip featured member orientations and plaque presentations with AEM members Brandt and The Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership. The orientations provided a valuable opportunity for AEM’s Paul Malek to highlight the full spectrum of association services, as well as detail all the ways the organizations can leverage their membership to make informed educated and impactful business decisions.

AEM’s full list of service areas include:

  • Advocacy
  • Business Intelligence
  • Education and Events
  • Market Share Statistics
  • Safety & Product Leadership
  • Workforce Solutions
  • Trade Shows

AEM also made its presence felt at CFS, widely known as one of North America’s biggest agricultural trade shows. Held annually in Regina, Saskatchewan, CFS showcases the latest equipment and technology, attracting thousands of visitors from Canada and around the world. The event brings in approximately 20,000 visitors and 50-plus countries seeking Canadian collaborations, and it generates $76 million in international sales per year.

While there, Malek engaged members regarding the association’s market share statistics service area. With more than 225 unique product programs, AEM provides timely, accurate and comprehensive market data to qualified members. In addition, Malek highlighted the value of participating in various leadership groups relevant to the ag industry, (of high interest was the Water Management Leadership Group). AEM’s leadership groups are designed to facilitate communication among association executives, those working directly on the issues and AEM staff to develop coordinated and effective industry solutions.

The association’s full list of leadership groups include:

  • Ag Technology Leadership Group
  • CE Technology Leadership Group
  • Dairy Equipment Leadership Group
  • FFA Fan Group
  • Manure Management Leadership Group
  • Power Source (Engine) Leadership Group
  • Sewer Cleaner Leadership Group
  • Specialty Crop Leadership Group
  • Sprayer Leadership Group
  • Startup Leadership Group
  • Sweeper Leadership Group
