AEM member company representatives gather around a table, listening to a presentation at the most recent AEM Momentum Member Event. The opportunity to discuss the future of artificial intelligence, learn about AEM member benefits, and experience peer-to-peer networking brought dozens of AEM member company representatives to Milwaukee last week for the first AEM Momentum Event of 2026.

More than 70 people joined association staff and AEM leaders at the inaugural gathering, which was held at The Gage Milwaukee. In addition to networking and member benefits information, the event also offered attendees access to timely industry insights via a special “behind the scenes” look at AEM’s quarterly Business Intelligence Market Update Webinar.

“We are thrilled to kick off our series of 2026 Momentum Events with such a successful event, and we are thankful for all the active, engaged, and enthusiastic members who joined us last week to connect and learn together,” said AEM Senior Director of Membership and Customer Success Sara Stromski.

Organized and led by AEM staff and member company leaders, these events serve as valuable opportunities to learn about the leading-edge benefits and services the association provides its 1,100-plus members. Last week’s gathering featured:

  • A comprehensive breakdown of AEM engagement opportunities from Stromski
  • A fresh perspective on AI, data, and business evolution from Joyn Collective’s Taryn Kutches, who detailed how organizations can approach AI not only as a tool, but as a catalyst for business transformation
  • In-person insights from AEM Senior Director of Business Intelligence Al Melhim, who gave a data-focused presentation on the past, present, and future of the agriculture and construction sectors, as well as an overall global outlook
