Telly AwardsAEM has won nine prestigious awards for its 2020 national get-out-the-vote campaign, Equipped to Vote. The record-shattering haul includes one PRNEWS Award, two Communicator Awards, and six Telly Awards. These honors place AEM shoulder to shoulder with the best advocacy organizations in the country and recognize the association as best in class across many of the fields of grassroots advocacy.

AEM launched Equipped to Vote to encourage the 2.8 million men and women of the industry to register to vote and support pro-manufacturing candidates during the 2020 election. The campaign engaged, educated, and mobilized tens of thousands of manufacturing voters across the country and helped elect and re-elect candidates running for the United States Congress.

“Amid the many complex challenges of 2020, our incredibly talented Advocacy Team took lemons and made award-wining lemonade,” said Kip Eideberg, AEM’s senior vice president of government and industry relations. “These nine prestigious awards recognize the breadth and depth of the boundary-pushing grassroots advocacy work made possible through the close collaboration between our member companies, the AEM Advocacy Team, and our long-term agency partner CRAFT.”

“This is a significant and well-deserved honor for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and its member companies,” said Randy Reinke, CEO of Custom Products and the 2021 Chair of AEM’s I Make America Committee. “During an election when the stakes could not have been higher for our industry, the Equipped to Vote campaign empowered employees of equipment manufacturers across the country to stand up and fight for their industry. These awards are a testament to the incredible partnership between AEM and its member companies.”
