AEM Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations Kip Eideberg was recently named to The Hill's list of top lobbyists for the third straight year.
The 2021 list was released late last week and, according to The Hill, it is comprised of “the people who stand out for delivering results for their clients in the halls of Congress and the [Biden] administration.”
“Representing equipment manufacturers is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life," said Eideberg. “Telling the manufacturing story, and the story of the 2.8 million men and women who make the equipment that helps build, power, and feed the world, is incredibly satisfying. The reason for that is Americans understand the power of manufacturing and how manufacturing has been responsible over the years for making us an exceptional nation.”

“During a year when equipment manufacturers had to navigate an extraordinary set of domestic and foreign challenges caused by the lingering COVID-19 pandemic, AEM kept up its relentless advocacy efforts for policies that will ensure the long-term growth and prosperity of our industry,” said Eideberg. “Our success in Washington and state capitals across the country can be credited to the best all-around advocacy team in the industry and its relentless pursuit of bipartisan solutions to our industry’s toughest problems.”
Eideberg joined AEM as its vice president of public affairs and advocacy in 2016, served as the interim head of the association's Washington, D.C. office, and was promoted to senior vice president of government and industry relations and head of the association's Washington D.C. office in 2019.
This year AEM’s Advocacy Team, under Eideberg’s leadership, led the charge for pro-manufacturing policies and scored several historic wins for the industry, including passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the introduction of the Precision Agriculture Loan (PAL) Act, and passage of bipartisan bills in Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska that will provide much needed funds for infrastructure and broadband.
