AEM Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations Kip Eideberg was named to The Hill’s list of top lobbyists for the seventh straight year.
The annual list, which was released earlier this month, honors those lobbyists who stand out because of their knowledge, effectiveness, and reputation in the nation’s capital. Selected from more than 1,800 nominations this year alone, The Hill’s Top Lobbyists have made measurable impacts on the course of policy and politics, whether for corporations, small businesses, local governments, nonprofits, unions, or trade associations.
“The lobbyists on this list represent the industry’s savviest, most influential, and well-connected advocates across Capitol Hill,” The Hill said in the announcement. “Over the past year, K Street players have stared down rapidly evolving tariff regimes, sweeping tax changes, military conflicts, deregulation campaigns and upheaval in the federal workforce.”
“During a year when our industry faced significant headwinds and trade and tariffs dominated conversations in Washington and Ottawa, we worked closely with both sides of Pennsylvania Avenue to give our member companies a clear runway to adjust, invest, expand production, and create more jobs,” said Eideberg. “Being named to The Hill’s list of top lobbyists is not just a great honor—it is a testament to the extraordinary team I have the privilege of leading. Their dedication, expertise, and relentless commitment to advancing our industry make achievements like this possible, and I am proud to share this recognition with them."

“We are thrilled that Kip has been named by The Hill as a Top Lobbyist for the seventh year in a row, and we are incredibly proud to have him lead a talented team that drives our association’s advocacy efforts,” said AEM President Megan Tanel. “Kip has a reputation in Washington of working closely and constructively with Democrats and Republicans to move our industry forward, and he has earned that reputation because of his passion for equipment manufacturing, post-partisan approach to advocacy, and commitment to policy solutions that create a win-win.”
Eideberg joined AEM as its vice president of public affairs and advocacy in 2016 and was promoted to senior vice president of government and industry relations and head of the association's Washington D.C. office in 2019.
This year, the AEM Advocacy Team, under Eideberg’s leadership, successfully shaped legislative and executive decisions at the highest levels of government and scored major victories, including substantial tax relief and incentives aimed at boosting domestic manufacturing as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, streamlined federal regulations that will reduce compliance costs and provide regulatory certainty for new investments, and recognition by the MAHA Commission for the critical role that equipment manufacturers play in delivering healthy, abundant, and affordable food. The year also saw the expansion of the association’s advocacy efforts in Canada, with the addition of staff and resources in Ottawa, and the return of the award-winning AEM Manufacturing Express, which undertook a successful tour of Texas.
