Resources, strategies, and insights to help AEM members continue their momentum in 2025 and beyond were shared last week at AEM’s special Canadian member event at Richie Brothers in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Organized and led by AEM staff and Richie Brothers leaders, the event served as a valuable opportunity for members in attendance to connect with each other and learn about the leading benefits and services the association provides its members.
The agenda for the Sept. 9 event included:
- An overview of Richie Brothers by the company’s own Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Curtis Petersen.
- A virtual appearance from British Columbia Senator Duncan Wilson.
- An overview of AEM’s ongoing Canadian advocacy efforts by AEM Senior Advisor of Global Public Policy Alex Russ.
- A roundtable discussion on member challenges that AEM may be uniquely positioned to help with in the future.
- A networking happy hour and dinner.
“These events serve to provide our members with a vision of the future as they prepare to face critical challenges to their businesses,” said AEM Director of Membership & Customer Success Sara Stromski. “They also provide a valuable opportunity to connect with other AEM members, and to exchange ideas and learn from one another.”
The agenda at last week’s event also included a presentation from AEM Account Success Advisor Paul Malek on the benefits AEM provides to its 1,000-plus members, and how to get the most out of an AEM membership.
All AEM’s core services, priorities, and initiatives help the association work toward achieving the goals associated with its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan. They are:
- Unify, lead, and champion the industry to advance its shared priorities.
- Drive member prosperity through increased engagement with AEM’s portfolio of resources.
- Leverage collective member intelligence to accelerate data-driven solutions that empowers member company growth.
