PFASOn Dec. 1, 2021, The United Kingdom, Welsh, and Scottish governments announced the publication of a Regulatory Management Options Analysis (RMOA) for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) along with an associated call for evidence from affected stakeholders.

The RMOA will investigate the manufacture, import, hazard profile, use, exposure and potential environmental and human health risks posed by PFAS. Comments for this request are due by Jan. 30, 2022.

The information gathered through this RMOA will presumably shape future chemical management policies in the UK. To learn more, please contact AEM Director of Global Standards and Compliance Jason Malcore at jmalcore@aem.org, or reach out to AEM's Regulatory Compliance Steering Committee.
