Why Knowledge Transfer Is So Important – And How to Encourage It

Manufacturing has an older-than-average workforce, and those employees who have been in the field for decades are retiring rapidly – taking their wealth of knowledge with them. Many companies do not prioritize knowledge transfer, however if they want a competent and knowledgeable workforce then it is imperative that they take action.

In her most recent 2-Minute Workforce Tactic Videos, AEM Senior Director of Workforce and Industry Initiatives Julie Davis highlights the importance of knowledge transfer, methods to start conversations around this topic, and concrete ways that knowledge can be transferred before it’s too late.
