Navigating Tariffs: Essential Resources for Equipment Manufacturers
The industry’s one-stop source for expert analysis, tools, and updates on tariffs to help navigate trade challenges.
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) supports President Trump’s goal of securing better and fairer trade deals with our trading partners, including by lowering tariffs on U.S. exports and expanding market access. However, universal tariffs ranging from 10-50% risk causing major harm to U.S. equipment manufacturers and the 2.3 million men and women that make up the industry. Damage to the U.S. economy will increase the longer the tariffs are in place and may be exacerbated by retaliatory measures. AEM is committed to working with the Trump Administration to quickly secure fair and equitable trade deals with other nations that will level the playing field for U.S. equipment manufacturers and result in the elimination of harmful tariffs.
