Dozens of stats reporters, analysts and managers from AEM member companies made their way to Minneapolis, Minnesota last week, as the 2022 Annual Statistics Conference was held, live and in-person, for the first time in more than three years.
Those in attendance were afforded the uniquely valuable opportunity to learn more about AEM Market Share Statistics, participate in committee meetings and enjoy networking opportunities at the conference, which was held at the Hargrove & Associates (HAI) office.
“It was great to see the statistics community gather together again for a productive few days at an event that has established itself as the place where decisions impacting AEM market data are made, as well as where our association members go to develop and refine their statistics programs,” said AEM Senior Director of Statistics Mike Lietke.
Held over three days, 2022 Annual Statistics Conference featured:
- Distribution of the Outstanding Merit Awards
- Various statistics committee meetings, as well as a meeting of the AEM Statistics Executive Committee
- An expert panel sharing thoughts and insights in Market Statistics best practices
- Reporting community listening sessions
- Product Specialist training
- An appearance by AEM President Megan Tanel
"Attending the AEM Annual Statistics Conference helps AEM members ensure they continue to receive consistent, accurate, and reliable information from the programs they participate in and have input on the future direction and development of those programs," said Lietke. "Whether the topic is focused on products being reported, metrics, geographic scope, level of granularity, or distribution rules, issues important to members are discussed in great detail in an effort to improve and enhance the usefulness of the information they receive."
