The Celebration of Modern Agriculture will return to the National Mall for the third time from May 11-13, 2027, bringing the people, equipment, and technology powering American agriculture to the heart of Washington, D.C. Held against the backdrop of the U.S. Capitol and Washington Monument, the three-day event will give policymakers and members of the public a firsthand look at the innovations shaping the future of farming.
As policymakers consider issues impacting the future of American agriculture, the event will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the people designing, building and using these innovations. Bringing equipment manufacturers, grower groups, and the wider farming community together, hands-on exhibits and equipment demonstrations will highlight how agricultural technologies are helping farmers increase productivity, lower costs, and strengthen America's food supply.
“Less than 2% of Americans work on farms, yet agriculture touches every American every day,” said John Rozum, AEM Senior Director of Industry Sectors. “Bringing modern agriculture to the National Mall helps close that gap, giving policymakers and the public an opportunity to see the technology firsthand and better understand what it takes to feed and fuel our country.”
The 2027 event will build on the success of the 2024 Celebration of Modern Agriculture, which welcomed more than 15,000 visitors, featured over 80 pieces of equipment, and hosted more than 60 policymaker tours. Launched in 2022, the event was founded to bring industry stakeholders together to highlight modern agricultural technology.
AEM member companies interested in showcasing their equipment and technology on the National Mall are encouraged to reserve their participation early.
