As part of its ongoing effort to provide participating member companies with the most reliable and accurate North American market share statistics data, AEM recently launched a North American product program for telescopic wheel loaders, also commonly known as tele-wheel loaders.

AEM members had insights into the worldwide tele-wheel loader market through the already-existing Intercontinental Statistics Committee (ISC), and the newly launched program increases visibility into the United States and Canada, down to the county level.

Originally proposed by AEM member company Deere & Company, the new regionally focused program is the culmination of efforts by the association’s Commercial Worksite, Forestry, Earthmoving, and Excavator (CWFEE) Statistics Committee to further segment wheel loaders – now tracking those with telescopic booms designed to increase reach and versatility for precise placement of materials in North America.

“Finding accurate and reliable market information can be a difficult endeavor,” said AEM Senior Director of Market Share Statistics Jacquelyn La Favor. “AEM’s market share statistics programs provide our members with timely, accurate, and reliable information. Thanks in large part to the new programs we’ve launched, our members now have the best-available tools and reports to determine their market penetration and business profitability.”

Deere & Company Market Information Catalyst Mike Porter serves as Chair of the CWFEE Statistics Committee, and is AEM’s tele-wheel loader product specialist, a volunteer committee leadership role which focuses on upholding program integrity through product expertise, model chart oversight, and disclosure discipline. Porter works in alignment with participating AEM member companies, AEM staff, and the data processor.

Currently, in addition to Deere & Company, fellow AEM member companies JCB, Manitou, Mecalac, and Wacker Neuson America Corporation participate in the North American program. Program data was first published on April 10, 2026.

The telescopic wheel loaders program will closely mirror other programs in the CWFEE by tracking shipments, new retails, first rentals, and rental conversions.
