KipAEM Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations Kip Eideberg was recently named to The Hill's list of top lobbyists for 2019.

According to The Hill, the list "highlights the broad range of talents needed to succeed in the influence industry," and those included "are all at the top of their game -- and the ones the nation's biggest companies, labor unions and associations turn to when they want their voices heard in the nation’s capital.”

“I’m humbled to make The Hill’s annual Top Lobbyists list,” said Eideberg. “This is a recognition of the great work done by AEM’s outstanding Advocacy Team on behalf of the men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry.”

Eideberg joined AEM as its vice president of public affairs and advocacy in 2016, served as the interim head of the association's Washington, D.C. office following the retirement of Nick Yaksich in 2018, and was promoted to senior vice president of government and industry relations and head of the association's D.C. branch this past summer.

Under Eideberg's direction, AEM’s Advocacy Team has accomplished quite a bit on behalf of the association’s 1,000-plus members and the equipment manufacturing industry in 2019. In addition to waging a number of successful campaigns on trade and infrastructure, the Advocacy Team has bolstered the association's I Make America campaign, secured a string of key legislative wins, and greatly expanded its political operations.
