Weatherhead

It is with deep regret that AEM notes the passing of industry leader and friend John Weatherhead, a former executive with Associated Construction Publications and, later, Weatherhead Custom Publishing.

Weatherhead served on AEM’s Board of Directors, and supported the association through his tireless work with AEM’s Membership Committee and Hall of Fame, as well as through his efforts to foster a spirit of networking and fun through his efforts as the coordinator of the AEM Annual Conference golf outing. Weatherhead worked with a number of other associations, including the American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA) and the Land Improvement Contractors of America (LICA). Most recently, he collaborated with Construction Equipment/Scranton Gillette.

“John will always be remembered for his kindness, his support of CONEXPO-CON/AGG, and his willingness to be an advocate for AEM and its mission,” said AEM President Megan Tanel. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.”

Weatherhead’s obituary can be viewed here.
