Safety isn’t a luxury in equipment manufacturing. It’s a necessity. End users expect it. Regulators demand it. And it’s our responsibility to help our members manufacture equipment that’s both safe and in compliance with global regulations.

It’s no easy task, and it’s why AEM is committed to offering timely information, impactful insights, and relevant best practices to help its members maintain market access at our annual Product Safety & Stewardship Conference and Liability Seminar.

Register now.

I’m proud to say I’ve contributed to what’s truly a one-of-a-kind industry event for many years, and I appreciate having been able to witness it grow and evolve into what it is today the only conference dedicated to advancing heavy equipment manufacturing programs with custom-crafted education tracks, innovative approaches to product stewardship, and valuable networking.

Thoroughly planned by experts in collaboration with AEM’s Safety & Product Leadership Department this Seminar is the epicenter for off-road equipment industry discussions related to compliance, standards and regulations, liability issues, and more. It also serves as an environment where industry safety and compliance leaders put their competitive differences aside for a while and come together for the betterment of all, these leaders work to arm event attendees with the information and insights they need to tackle current and future business challenges.

Set for April 22-25, 2024, in Rosemont, Illinois, the Product Safety & Stewardship Conference and Liability Seminar will bring together hundreds of industry compliance professionals, value chain partners, and subject matter experts for three-plus days of information and insights focused on today’s compliance environment. AEM has worked diligently to offer a 2024 event that’s poised to be more impactful than any previous edition. Specifically, we will offer a fourth conference track with an emphasis on product management aimed at helping attendees with certain job titles broaden their knowledge of regulations and produce lifecycle management.

Our three core tracks, combined with the fourth one, provides a comprehensive range of valuable learning opportunities:

  • The Principles Track – Featuring fundamental insights for those new to the industry, this track also serves as an excellent refresher for seasoned industry professionals.
  • The Advanced Track – Offering deeper dives into critical industry issues, this track is tailored for seasoned product safety and compliance experts.
  • Technical Communications Track – This track is designed to help industry professionals enhance their skills as they relate to safety materials and publications.
  • Product Management – Providing comprehensive information regarding how product safety intersects with product management, this track helps to foster industry-wide collaboration and understanding among peers.

I can’t help but mention the always-popular Product Liability Seminar. Held on Thursday, April 25, it features a full-day mock trial program where participants can experience a realistic courtroom setting complete with witness testimonies, evidentiary presentations, and jury deliberations.

Altogether, the Product Safety & Stewardship Conference and Liability Seminar is three-plus days of content and networking that’s both for AEM members and provided by AEM members. Since it’s virtually impossible for any one company or individual to know everything necessary to remain compliant with ever-changing regulations and keep up with the latest safety best practices, we’re bringing it all to one place this April in Chicago.

Whether you’re a longtime attendee or someone set to join us for the first time, we promise this event provides solutions you can apply immediately in any professional setting. The conference's name is new, and we’ve attended another educational track, but the core purpose of the Product Safety & Stewardship Conference and Liability Seminar remains unchanged: ensuring the safety of our members and the customers they serve, getting them home to their families, and highlighting product safety and stewardship as integral drivers of success for our industry.
