Senator Hagerty Visits Crenlo Engineered Cabs

CrenloThroughout the course of the year, AEM’s national grassroots campaign, I Make America, works to host elected officials at member company facilities. These visits allow elected officials to meet their constituents in the equipment manufacturing industry, and to also see the hard work that these men and women pour into making the equipment that builds, feeds, and powers the world. This month, we were pleased to welcome U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee to Crenlo Engineered Cabs for a visit and employee town hall following the tour.

Senator Hagerty is no stranger to the equipment manufacturing industry as a former road construction worker, and he knows what it takes to get the job done both in our industry and in the U.S. Senate. Just this month, Senator Hagerty was one of 17 Senate Republicans to support the CHIPS and Science Act - a historic investment in the domestic production of semiconductors. He also introduced legislation that has been signed into law to expand the FAST-41 permitting process for domestic manufacturers, which aims to help the U.S. regain is manufacturing advantage on the global stage.

The visit shows the people of Tennessee and our local community Hagerty’s commitment to the pro-manufacturing policies and his understanding of the importance of American equipment manufactures.
