Innovative products and technologies help non-road equipment manufacturers improve productivity, enhance safety, reduce labor requirements, and deliver greater value to customers. If your company introduced a breakthrough product within the last year, now is the time to put it in the spotlight.
The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) is accepting submissions for the prestigious AE50 Awards, which recognize the year’s most innovative engineering products in agriculture, food, and biological systems. For more than 35 years, the program has highlighted technologies that drive meaningful advancements across the industry.
Each year, an international panel of experts in engineering, design, and product development evaluates entries based on innovation, engineering achievement, and market impact. Approximately 50 products are selected for recognition, earning a place among the industry's most notable technological advancements.
To be eligible, the product, system, component, machine, structure, procedure, or technology must have been introduced within the previous year and represent either a new technology or an innovative application of an existing technology. Importantly, the advancement must be new to the industry as a whole, not simply new to an individual company.
For AEM members, the AE50 Awards present an opportunity to showcase the innovation happening across the equipment manufacturing industry. Whether your company has developed a machine, attachment, digital solution, component, or production process that is transforming how work gets done, the program offers a platform to highlight those achievements.
Even more significant, the top AE50 winners become eligible for the Davidson Prize, one of the industry's highest honors for agricultural engineering innovation, of which three are awarded in partnership with AEM each year. The award recognizes technologies that demonstrate outstanding innovation, practical impact, and measurable benefits for agricultural producers.
Companies interested in being considered should submit their products through ASABE's online application process before the Sept. 27 deadline.
