AEM member company representatives from around the world converged in Tennessee this past week to attend the highlight of the year for the statistics community – the AEM Market Share Statistics Annual Conference. Held at Wirtgen America’s Center for Training & Technology in Antioch, attendees were afforded the opportunity to learn more about AEM Market Share Statistics , attend committee meetings, and get some quality networking time in with like-minded statistics professionals.
Attendees visited the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum after day one of committee meetings and individual sessions, for a performance by multi-Grammy award winning songwriter and producer Gordon Kennedy. Day two of the conference included presentations from Kade Brewster of Brewster Consulting Group, Jesse Spencer-Smith, PHD, Vanderbilt University, Todd Snell of Hargrove & Associates (HAI), and others.
Thirty-eight companies were awarded with Outstanding Merit Awards, for their stellar performance and involvement in AEM Market Share Statistics programs. Awarded companies were recognized for superior performance in areas of policy and procedures, including on-time reporting, engagement in the program through attending meetings and education sessions, and volunteering in a special role to help statistics committees govern, change, and grow.
