AEM Washington Fly-In

One of the primary ways AEM connects our member companies to their elected officials is by coordinating efforts on behalf of the industry through its annual fly-in.

Each year, AEM’s Washington Federal Fly-In provides equipment manufacturers with the opportunity for our industry to speak with one voice. Our member companies are our best advocates because they know how decisions made in Washington, D.C. affect what happens on the factory floor. Bringing together our members all at once during the fly-in significantly raises the volume of our collective voice.

The AEM Washington Fly-In is coming soon, learn about last year’s Fly-In.

Get Connected With Your Elected Official

AEM’s advocacy team also connects AEM members with their elected officials throughout the year. This includes phone calls, virtual meetings, Capitol Hill visits and/or in district or state meetings.

Facility Tours

Interested in having an elected official visit your manufacturing facility? AEM coordinates visits by local, state, and federal officials to our members’ facilities throughout the year. These are great opportunities to demonstrate their contribution to the local and state economy by supporting good-paying jobs and building the essential equipment our economy relies on.

AEMPAC

AEM’s Political Action Committee (PAC) is how we, a united industry, stay ahead of the game. AEMPAC has a simple, straightforward mission: to support the campaigns of pro-growth, pro-manufacturing candidates for the United States Senate and House of Representatives. AEMPAC helps elect federal lawmakers who are committed to legislating fair and reasonable policies important to the men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry.

The Federal Election Commission requires AEMPAC to request the written prior approval of AEM members before soliciting contributions. Corporations may not approve solicitations by more than trade association for the same calendar year.

To get involved, please complete this online prior approval form and AEM staff will be in touch. Learn more about AEMPAC.
