AEM member company FAE USA rolled out the red carpet for association staff and member leaders this week at AEM’s final Momentum Event of 2026.
More than 50 people gathered on Tuesday near FAE’s U.S. headquarters in Gainesville, Georgia, to network with one another, gain unprecedented access to information on member benefits, and receive timely and relevant industry updates from AEM staff.
“We can’t think of a better way to close out our series of 2026 Momentum Events than by spending a day with our friends and hosts from FAE USA,” said AEM Senior Director of Membership and Customer Success Sara Stromski. “It’s always great to see members come together and learn from one another about where our industry is at and – more importantly – where it’s headed.
Tuesday’s AEM Momentum Event featured:
- A welcome from FAE CEO Giorgio Carera
- A brief breakdown of AEM engagement opportunities from Stromski
- An in-depth perspective on the concept of strategic innovation, featuring AEM Vice President, Construction & Utility Sector John Somers, who detailed how organizations can accelerate adoption by honoring existing user habits rather than dismantling them. In addition, Somers shared practical frameworks for lowering cognitive friction, framing novel concepts around proven practices, and turning quiet hesitation into active buy-in.
- In-person insights from AEM Senior Director of Business Intelligence Al Melhim, who gave a data-focused presentation on the past, present, and future of the agriculture and construction sectors, as well as an overall global outlook.
