AEM’s Sara Truesdale Mooney has been elected Treasurer to the Wisconsin Society of Association Executive’s (WSAE’s) Board of Directors, announced during the society’s 2025 Annual Summit this November

Mooney is senior vice president of membership, sales, and customer success at AEM, and holds the designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and she is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organizational Management (IOM).

“I am honored to be elected Treasurer of WSAE, and look forward to furthering the organization’s mission and helping to implement its new strategic plan to benefit association professionals throughout Wisconsin,” said Mooney,

Mooney was also named president of Hargrove Association Insights (HAI) in January. HAI operates as a standalone subsidiary of AEM, which acquired the company in January of 2018. AEM has been a client of HAI, headquartered in Minneapolis, since 1989. The two organizations have a longstanding history of working together to meet and support AEM member company needs, while maintaining a strict data firewall between them.

The Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE) is a 501c(6) membership organization of more than 500 association executives and industry partners representing professionals in Wisconsin. Its mission is to create meaningful connections and enhance the competencies of association professionals. In 2022, the organization celebrated its 75th anniversary.
