AEM Welcomes Bill Hurley to its Board of Directors; Three Join CE Sector Board

AEM BoardAEM is pleased to announce Board-level leadership changes that have gone into effect this year.

AGCO’S Bill Hurley has joined AEM’s Board of Directors and serves as Chair of the association’s Ag Sector Board. He replaces 2022 AEM Chair Bob Crain of AGCO on the AEM Board with Crain continuing to serve on AEM’s Nominating and Finance committees. Other Board-level additions include Calder Brothers Corporation’s Glen Calder, The Toro Company’s Peter Moeller and Hexagon’s Magnus Thibblin, who have all joined AEM’s CE Sector Board.

“At AEM, we benefit from the support and knowledge of our member companies, as well as the dedication of their representatives who serve in leadership roles,” said AEM Senior Vice President Curt Blades. “We appreciate all Bill has done, and will do, to help our services and initiatives continue to meet the needs of our members and the industry.”

Hurley serves as Vice President, Distribution, Americas at AGCO, having joined the company in 2009 and worked as its Vice President, Aftersales, Customer Support and Distribution Development, North America.

Calder serves as Vice President of Operations for Calder Brothers Corporation. He and his three brothers joined forces in 1994 and bought the Mauldin line of commercial asphalt paving equipment and renamed the business Calder Brothers Corporation. Prior to entering the family business, he had had roles in operations and purchasing with Graebel Van Lines and R.M. Taylor Inc.

Moeller is Group Vice President, Underground and Specialty Construction at The Toro Company. He joined the company in 1998 and served in various roles, most recently Vice President, International and Vice President of Sitework Systems.

Thibblin is Vice President Heavy Construction, at Hexagon's Geosystems division. In his role, he is responsible for developing and driving the strategy of the company’s machine control business, part of heavy construction. Thibblin joined the company in 2006 and previously held various leadership positions within Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon.

“We welcome Glen, Peter and Magnus to our CE Sector Board, and we thank them for their volunteer leadership as we support our industry and drive value to our members,” said AEM Vice President of Construction and Utility John Somers.
