PSCS While they’re still months months away, it’s never too early for safety and compliance professionals to mark their calendars for the 2023 AEM Product Safety & Compliance and Product Liability Seminars.

Next year’s seminars are set to take place April 24-27, 2023, in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati. Offering valuable perspectives on the latest standards, safety regulations, and the best practices, the Product Safety & Compliance and Liability Seminars are designed to help both individuals working in the off-road equipment industry advance their careers and their employers move their safety programs forward.

“Whether it’s being presented with leading-edge information, valuable processes and networking opportunities, being offered updates on proven industry practices for risk assessment, or receiving the latest information on the status of certain standards and regulations, attendees of these seminars will walk away with the tools they need to face current and future challenges to their businesses,” said AEM Technical Manager – Safety & Product Leadership Travis Webb.

Taken together, the seminar sessions provide attendees with proven industry practices for risk assessment, process documentation, product liability positioning, litigation avoidance, and compliance. They also arm attendees with a product safety “toolkit” of knowledge to use on the job each day and they will benefit from exclusive access to safety experts and other equipment manufacturing industry professionals.

AEM’s Product Safety & Compliance Seminar Planning Committee (PSCS-PC) has the goal of identifying and selecting topics that should be presented to the industry members. According to Webb, the planning process is off to a great start looking as 2022 winds down and the industry looks ahead to 2023.

“The Planning Committee has met several times since the 2022 Seminars and things are really coming together," said Webb. :One thing they have been paying special attention to this year is the overall format and flow of the schedule. They want to make sure the sessions and content are equally speaking to both the first-time attendees, or perhaps someone new to the workforce, as well as the tenured experts. They’ve been working on a new approach to accomplish this, so nonetheless, there’s going to be some can’t-miss sessions for everyone.”

According to CNH Industrial’s Jill Wiggins, who has attended the Product Safety & Compliance Seminar several times during her time working in the industry, they are a tremendous value for individuals and, organizations who employ them.

“It’s good for everybody; good for my professional development, good for my personal network and meeting new people at all different companies from all over the world,” said Wiggins. “It’s good for the whole industry.”
